FAQs

General Questions

Will your nets handle my driver swing speed?

Yes. Golf Papi nets are built with commercial-grade, high-tension netting and a reinforced steel frame engineered to handle high-speed impacts from all clubs — including driver. The netting is rated for repeated full-power swings and is designed for daily use by serious golfers.

Can I use real golf balls?

Absolutely. Golf Papi nets are designed for real golf balls. Unlike flimsy bow-frame nets, our steel frame and thick reinforced netting safely contain full shots at driver speeds. No foam balls needed.

How long does setup take?

Most golfers set up in 15 minutes or less. The frame uses a tool-free interlocking steel tube system — no hardware required. Once you've done it once, setup takes under 10 minutes.

Can I leave it outdoors?

The net and frame are built for indoor and outdoor use. The powder-coated steel frame resists the elements. For extended outdoor storage in harsh weather, we recommend covering or bringing it inside to maximize lifespan.

Does it work with a launch monitor or simulator?

Yes. Golf Papi nets are compatible with all major launch monitors including Skytrak, Garmin Approach R10, Mevo+, Foresight GC3, Uneekor, and others. Simply position your launch monitor behind your hitting position as normal. Our 10 ft Mobile Simulator Net also includes a premium impact screen for full simulator use.

Product Specific Questions

What is the difference between the 7.5 ft and 10 ft nets?

The 7.5 ft net (7.5 ft wide x 7.5 ft tall x 3.5 ft deep) is ideal for tighter spaces like garages, basements, or small backyards — great for irons and wedge work. The 10 ft net gives you more width for full driver swings and is the better choice if you have the space. Both include side nets.

What is the difference between the Pro Net and the Mobile Simulator Net?

Both use the same steel frame. The Mobile Simulator Net adds a premium impact screen, making it projector-ready for use with simulator software. The Practice Net is for ball-striking practice without a screen. You can upgrade to a simulator setup later.

What's included in the box?

Each net comes with: steel frame tubes (all labeled and color-coded), main hitting net, two sides of net protection, carry/storage bag, and an instruction manual. The Mobile Simulator Net also includes the impact screen.

Can it be used for sports other than golf?

Yes. The heavy-duty netting and stable steel frame also work as a backstop for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer practice.

How much space do I need?

For the 7.5 ft net: you'll need at least a 10 ft x 10 ft area (accounting for your swing arc in front of the net). For the 10 ft net: at least 12 ft x 12 ft. Ceiling height should be at least 8 ft for full driver swings indoors.
